In this field test shooting video, I test the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball gun in Sea Can Indoor Replica Airguns shooting to find out what its speed and accuracy are. I start by putting 5 shots through my chronograph with average fps, then set up a new paper target 30 feet away and put (maximum on the clip) 8 Paintball shots into it to see how close I can get to camp. Starting with the chronograph speed test, Umarex says you can expect about 350-400 fps, which seems pretty high to me based on my other field tests with similar .43 caliber paintball guns. This is probably using real Paintballs as I was using rubber balls for my measurements to reduce the mess in the Sea Can. I was able to get an average of 300fps with the brand new CO2 in what I would consider room temperature conditions meaning in warmer conditions I'm sure we can get even more than the 300fps I've gotten to date.
For the next part of the indoor field test I loaded 8 rounds into the Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen5 CO2 .43 Cal. Paintball gun and carefully placed it on a paper target 30 feet away. I was using my usual sitting position on the back with my hands on the sandbag in front which I found to be quite stable but there will still be a human factor that can affect general accuracy. My results were about what I expected for a paintball gun to shoot the balls, they generally spread a little at 30 feet and in this field test my 8 shot group spread to about 8 inches or so there. They seemed to take aim as a group and if I hit a human-sized torso in that range I would hit it every time.
